Man hospitalized after being stabbed in Santa Maria

Santa Maria police are looking for two suspects that attacked and stabbed a man Monday night.

The attack happened just after 10 p.m. on the 1900 block of South Miller Street.

Police say a man was walking along the road when he was approached by two men in a sedan. The two men got out of the car and then started kicking and punching him, police say, and during the fight, the victim was stabbed in the leg.

The two men were able to get away before police arrived. The victim was transported to Marian Medical Center in stable condition.
