College-bound Dos Pueblos student athletes honored at rally

More than a dozen student athletes from Dos Pueblos High School were honored at a rally celebrating their move to college programs.

The event took place in the Sovine Gym in front of classmates, teachers and parents.

Members of the coaching staff from each sport talked about the hard work, dedication and pride their athletes displayed over their time as a Charger. The 16students honored will be attending colleges throughout the country and continuing their athletic careers.

State cross-country champion Bryan Fernandez (Oregon), water polo standout Jaime Neushul (Stanford) andfootball star Nico Bornand (UNLV) are just a couple of the student-athleteswho were honored.
