Two people identified in fatal car crash in Grover Beach
Grover Beach police have identified the two victims in the fatal car crash on El Camino Real on Tuesday.
Police say Raymond G. Cano, 49, and his wife Kimberly R. Cano, 46, were in the vehicle when it veered off the road and slammed into a tree.
It happened on the 900 block of El Camino Real just around 9 p.m.
Cmdr. John Peters said officers found the Ford pickup truck flipped over on the driver’s side near a large tree.
When emergency crews arrived they found the driver and passenger dead. Police said the truck appeared to be traveling southbound when it veered off the road.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
