Two drivers sent to hospital after car crash

Two cars collided on Highway 101 Northbound just past the State Street exit in Santa Barbara.

One of the cars was experiencing an unknown type of mechanical difficulties. The car tried to pull over to the right shoulder and crashed with another car.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital with major injuries.
