Two men arrested for attempting to break into a tractor dealership
Two men are arrested for trying to break into a tractor dealership in Paso Robles.
Leonard Felipe Trujillo, 38, and Henry Theodore Lee Long, 30, are charged with trying to break into C & N Tractors in Paso Robles.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 2600 block of Ramada Drive.
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call that two men were using bolt cutters to cut the chain link fence at C & N Tractors. When deputies arrived, they discovered the cut fence. Investigators immediately set up a perimeter and began searching the area.
With the help of a K-9 unit, authorities were able to locate Trujillo. He was armed with a knife. Authorities said when Trujilloresisted arrest, the K-9 bit him. He was taken to the hospital, treated and booked into County Jail on a charge of burglary.
Detectives detained Long,who was seen walking in the area. He was stopped and investigators discovered evidence on him related to the crime scene. Long was booked into County Jail on charges of possession of burglary tools and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Detectives are investigating the incident and attempting to determine and identify any other suspects who may be involved.
