Lemon chicken pasta wins Petrini’s Italian recipe contest

Petrini’s Restaurant owner Joe Bohnett hosted the Third Annual Petrini’s Italian Recipe Challenge on Wednesday night.

The award for best recipe went to Alma-Rose Middleton. Ingredients for the winning recipe include Bella Rosa Tuscan style pasta with linguini, lemon chicken, artichoke hearts, capers, green olives, garlic, lemon juice and lemon zest.

Middleton’s recipe and four other submissions were judged during a tasting by customers throughout the evening.

Sampling the food was a special panel of judges including KEYT reporter-anchor John Palminteri, former Superior Court Judge Jim Brown, and the owner of Case Security, Craig Case.

Middleton will have her dish added to the menu for the next year. She also gets a $50 Petrini’s gift certificate.
