Santa Barbara Police are heading up two separate investigations following a shooting and a stabbing this weekend.

Police are releasing few details surrounding the shooting. But, investigators say officers responded to an incident on the 600 block of Wentworth at 12:24 a.m. on Sunday. A neighbor, who does not want to be identified, tells NewsChannel 3 he heard gunfire just after midnight. When officers arrived on scene, they found one person with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No one is in custody.
