Principal accused of bullying teachers, parents

A principal accused of bullying has been placed on paid administrative leave from her school.

Oxnard School District administrators say Marie Pierre will no longer be in charge at McAuliffe Elementary School.

At a recent school board meeting, teachers said they dreaded going to work.

Parents, concerned about bullying among students, said they felt disrespected and bullied when they talked to the principal.

This was the principal’s first year in the Oxnard School District.

An interim principal will finish out the school year.
