Driver in custody involved in alcohol-related crash
A driver is in custody following a crash that may have involved alcohol according to CHP officials.
The two-car crash happened near Walnut and Hollister avenue shortly after 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Santa Barbara County Fire officials say one car T-boned the other vehicle.
The drivers were the only ones inside the cars. Both were taken to cottage hospital.
One driver had minor injuries, the other remains in the hospital.
No word yet on the severity of that driver’s condition.
