Luster awaits sentencing ruling

The heir to the Max Factor makeup fortune is waiting to hear the results of a two week hearing on his 124-year sentence.

In 2003, Andrew Luster was a fugitive when he was convicted of drugging and raping three women. Luster was caught six months later by Dog the Bounty Hunter (Duane Dog Chapman).

The 49-year-old’s new legal team accused his former lawyers of failing to pursue a plea deal that could have shaved 100 years off his sentence. They also accused one of his attorneys of encouraged him to flee to Mexico.

Judge Kathryne Stoltz will decide whether Luster will get a reduced sentence.
