Gauchos walloped by No. 6 UCLA in college baseball

Never mind taking the fifth, UCLA dominated the sixth! The Bruins scored seven times in the sixth inning and crushed UCSB 12-3 in college baseball.

UCSB sophomore Greg Mahle allowed four runs in five innings of work but once he left the bullpen was exploited. UCLA turned a 4-2 lead into an 11-2 laugher with their big sixth inning.

Santa Barbara managed just four hits as they fall to 4-4 on the year. They host San Jose State on Friday at 2 p.m.
