Brush fire contained behind home
Santa Barbara City firefighters are mopping up a brush fire behind a home. It happened around 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
The fire was contained to shrubbery in the back yard.
The residence is located on 20 El Prado Place in the Samarkand area. Santa Barbara County Fire assisted in putting out the flames.
Smoke was visible from TV Hill. No injuries were reported and the home suffered minor damage.
The fire was knocked down just before 11:30 a.m.
