Bacara Resort & Spa under new ownership

Bacara Resort & Spa is under the new ownership of Pacific Hospitality Group. The organization announced the purchase in a press release on Monday.

Pacific Hospitality is based in Irvine and owns several high-end coastal properties.

It bought the 78 acre property in Goleta from Ohana Real Estate investors and Rockpoint Group. The new owners did not reveal the purchase price.

Resort General Manager Kathleen Cochran said, “Bacara is thrilled to join Pacific Hospitality Group and its prestigious Meritage Collection. This change brings many exciting resort enhancements for guests and locals to look forward to, including the introduction of the Foley Food & Wine Society at Bacara.”
