Gauchos explode, beat Fresno State in season opening series

UC Santa Barbara opened the baseball season with at series victory at Fresno State.

Guachos’ win the series rubber match 11-3 on Sunday. UCSB trailed 2-0 heading into the 7th and scored eight runs in the inning to break the game open. UCSB added 3 more runs in the top of the 9th.

Kenny Chapman pitched 3.2 innings and picked up the win.
