Hit and run victim identified

We now know the name of the pedestrian involved in a fatal hit and run in Santa Maria.

He has been identified as 56-year-old Frank Diaz Jr. from Santa Maria.

Police say the driver is 19-year-old Alvino Corona.

The crash took place off Blosser Road, just north of Rancho Verde last week.

Corona and his 18-year-old wife crashed into a fence, then ran off from the mangled car.

Investigators say they returned to the site an hour later..
Corona was arrested.
