Local Dorner preps

This weekend the LAPD announced the formation and initiation of a Special Task Force, a collection of agencies with the sole aim of finding the Ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner.

Though none of the Central Coast agencies admit being a member of the Task Force, all agencies say they’re prepared to assist the Christopher Dorner Task Force if needed.

Reported members of the Task Force include LA, Irvine, and Riverside Police Departments along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Marshall Service and other agencies.

The mood among area law enforcement agencies is one of shock and despair as one of its own is suspected of murder resulting from a shooting spree.
