Boston resident talks to NewsChannel 3 about impacts of massive storm
Residents were hunkered down Friday, bracing for a storm of epic proportions. One resident in Boston spoke to NewsChannel 3 by phone describing the conditions they’re up against. Sean Ravai says Mayor Thomas Menino issued a state of emergency, and as of 4pm, no one was allowed on the roads. In fact, it was illegal, and one could face arrest. Everyone was told to stay indoors.
Residents were bracing for snow fall that is expected to surpass the record of 27-and a half inches – set in 2003. Blizzard warnings were also issued for 7 states, from New Jersey to Maine.
