The Lakey Peterson Story will premiere in front of a sold out Lobero Theatre

Lakey Peterson is already a bright light on the world’s professional surfing circuit. Now the 18-year old champion will shine on the big screen. Zero to 100, The Lakey Peterson Story will have it’s world premiere this Sunday, February 10 at 7:00 pm at Santa Barbara’s Lobero Theatre.

Filmmaker Aaron Lieber gives us an intimate window into Peterson’s life and what drives her to win on the waves and off. The film captures Lakey at some of the best surf spots on the planet. It will also highlight her philanthropic work.

Although the movie is already sold out, there will be plenty of entertainment in front of the Lobero before the show. The Hurley Truck will be on-site, there will be music and Lakey will on hand meeting her fans.

The Santa Barbara native won the 2012 US Open of Surfing last August.
