Deckers is planning a retail expansion
The Deckers Corporation is planning a retail expansion to showcase more of its line of shoe products.
Deckers is based in Goleta and it is currently expanding its corporate offices on Hollister Avenue.
Company officials have told the Wall Street Journal, Deckers plans to double its retail operation and have 200 stores by 2015.
Deckers has seen growing profits in recent years with the popularity of its UGG boots.
The company hopes to use the new stores to showcase its sneakers and sandals geared towards spring, summer and fall.
