Ventura Basement Fire Knocked Down

Ventura City Fire Department is on scene of a fire at a single family residence on the 500 block of San Clemente Street in Ventura. Everyone got out of the house safely. Firefighters knocked it down quickly but they say it will take awhile to find out where it started. The call came in around 4:12 on Friday afternoon. City Fire spokesperson says it appears the fire is coming from the basement. Ventura County Fire Department is also assisting in the attack.
