Santa Barbara Burglary Suspects Lead Police to Oxnard

OXNARD – Police are on a manhunt for one of two suspects after an early morning burglary in the Santa Barbara area.A spokesperson with the Oxnard Police Department confirmed to KEY News that two men led California Highway Patrol Officers on a high speed pursuit from Santa Barbara into Oxnard after 7:00 Thursday morning.Police say the suspects jumped out of the white Toyota truck they were in, and took off on foot near Naples and North Port, not far from the Oxnard Airport.The current search is focused on the Sea View Estates neighborhood, near West of Patterson and Dunkirk; one of the suspects was taken into custody roughly two hours into the search.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
