Propane Supply Tightens

Propane use can’t keep up with supply in some states.California, Arizona and Nevada are looking for more.The Western Propane Gas Association says growers are using more propane to fuel wind machines and residents are using more to keep warm during a cold snap.The use comes at a time when California refineries are doing routine winter maintenance that affects the supply.Commercial use is affected also.Some customers say it’s not a problem to conserve.So far they have not seen an increase in prices.Residential customers say stocking up is not a safe thing to do.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
