Local Student Rides with Rose Parade Grand Marshal
One Santa Barbara girl got to accompany Grand Marshal Doctor Jane Goodall in the 124th Rose Parade on Tuesday. Seventeen-year-old Maddie is part of Santa Barbara High’s Dons Net Cafe Roots and Shoots. Goodall invited a total of three Roots and Shoots leaders from Southern California to join her in a horse-drawn carriage.
