Dons Boys Soccer Rout Royals
Santa Barbara High School recorded it’s 13th shutout on the season and the Dons had no trouble putting the ball in the net as they dominated rival San Marcos 5-0 to stay undefeated in the Channel League. Peter Gamboa scored the first goal in the 19th minute and Pepe Barron also added a first half goal as the Dons led 2-0 at intermission and never looked back. Santa Barbara is now 4-0 in league and 16-3-1 on the year. On the girls side, Jackie Lopez scored two goals as Santa Barbara edged the Royals 3-2 to move to 3-0 in the Channel League. All of the goals were scored in the first half.
