Centerpoint Mall Improvements

The Centerpoint Mall in Oxnard has a new owner and a new Walmart. Walmart held its grand opening today.The store replaced a vacant Mervyns on the corner of Saviers Road and Channel Islands Boulevard. The only way to get into the Walmart is from inside the Mall.That makes it a one of a kind Walmart.The mall’s recent makeover outside attracted new owners too.Los Angeles based developers bought the Centerpoint Mall for more than 27 million dollars.Thanks to Walmart it is now 99 percent occupied.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
