The Blue Angels will be the main attraction at this year’s air show at Pt. Mugu. The show isn’t until the Fall, but one of the team’s F-18s flew in today for an air show logistics meeting at Naval Base Ventura County. It was a homecoming of sorts for one pilot.Lt. Commander Michael Cheng was stationed at Naval Base Ventura County when he interviewed to be a Blue Angel.Cheng got the three year post in September.The last time the Blue Angels headlined the Point Mugu Airshow was in 2005.But severe weather prevented them from putting on their usual show.They are hoping for better weather this year.So mark your calendars for September 28th and 29th.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
