Suspended Driver Sting

More than a dozen law enforcement agencies are cracking down on suspended drivers. But they’re not just doing it at checkpoints. They are doing it in courthouse parking lots.A sting operation at the Ventura County Government Center this morning led to several arrests. They followed people driving out of the courthouse moments after being told by a judge they were losing their licenses temporarily. In many cases, the officers say you should designate a driver when you go to court. The sting is part of the, “Avoid the 14,” program. That’s the number of agencies working together to make roads safe during the holidays.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
