Wild weather is leaving its mark across the Central Coast this weekend. Painted Cave Road is back open after the CHP shut it down on Saturday afternoon due to snow and icy conditions. The CHP said too many people tried to drive up to sight see and had trouble turning around. The slick roads also caused several accidents on Saturday and a traffic backup on Highway 154. On Saturday, the Central Coast also experienced rain, high winds, hail and even some thunder. Tune in to KEY News Weekend at 6 for a look at the week ahead, plus what to expect for New Year’s Eve.
