Oxnard Police Looking for Suspect in Parking Lot Assault

Oxnard police are looking for a man they say, held a woman at knife-point, in a shopping center parking lot. Police say, the incident happened just after 8:30 Thursday night on the 1800 block of Ventura Boulevard when a woman was attacked as she walked from Marshall’s to her car. The attacker entered the victim’s car and held a knife to her throat. The man let go and took off when the victim began honking her horn. Oxnard police searched the area with the help from the Ventura County Sheriff’s helicopter, but no suspect was found.
