New Year’s Preps Santa Barbara

The countdown to the New Year has already begun…throughout the area restaurants, resorts, lounges and clubs are offering New Year’s party packages to help ring in 2013. As the new year is upon us, just about all establishments are offering New Year’s Eve revelers lots of party options. Dinner, champagne toasts and even childcare is available. Downtown at the Wildcat Lounge, management is gearing up for its special New Year’s eve bash and they’re pulling out all the stops. The Wildcat says it’s offering a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. You can buy tickets to its New Year’s Eve party on line for only $30, and that will include v.i.p. entry And that includes the two big balloon drops at midnight so eat your heart out Times Square…and don’t forget the dancing!! Just for the record management says the Wildcat has been voted 6 years and counting by the Santa Barbara Independent Best Dance Club. Management says it believes it receives the recognition because it takes pride in getting different DJs in and playing different music and keeping customers happy. On the other end of town at the Bacara Resort and Spa keeping customers happy seems to be its mantra too; the resort offers a world class buffet of temptation The resort likens the beauty to an island paradise a beautiful oasis by the ocean where people get to relax spend the weekend there’s a beautiful spa and beautiful dining. Its $85 party package is sold out and well the one for the kids that included dinner and a sitter for $75 that’s history too, but there’s still plenty to enjoy. The Bacara says enjoy the resort, the New Year’s Eve festivities and make a long weekend of it as well because it’s on a Monday so it’s a little bit different than normal. The New Year’s Eve 3-day holiday weekend is out of the ordinary so enjoy it while it’s here. Bear in mind don’t drink and drive. Sobriety check points are expected to be busy over the holiday weekend.
