Gift Wrapping Table Brings Out Special Holiday Joy

As you shop for gifts for your friends and family, you can also help someone who is about to lose a loved one.The Life Chronicles, non profit group, has a special gift wrapping table set up at the Paseo Nuevo Mall. There’s no charge for the customer. They are only asked for a donation.Life Chronicles uses the funds for special video projects where residents can talk to and document someone special to them, as a way to remember them when they pass on, “so you have that forever,” said Jeanne Schroeder a volunteer gift wrapper. One customer, Christina Vail said, “I did it last year. And It’s easy. I feel good donating.”The table is located in the main mall walkway on the west side near Chapala Street.
