Early Morning Downtown Stabbing

One person was wounded after an early morning fight in downtown Santa Barbara. The unidentified victim is a young male. He was reportedly stabbed.Police were called to the parking lot at Anacapa and Haley Streets about 1 a.m. Saturday where a 911 caller said a fight was taking place.Witnesses say numerous officers came in from several directions. A victim was found a short distance away on Cota Street on the ground and wounded. Medics were called and they transported the injured man to Cottage Hospital.Other officers made two arrests a few blocks away at Fig and Haley behind downtown businesses. Both of those suspects were male Hispanics. It’s unknown if a weapon has been recovered.Full details from the Santa Barbara Police Department are still being gathered for release.
