Distressed Hikers Found In 7-Falls Tunnel Trail

Santa Barbara- Three hikers are home safe after getting lost in the 7-falls area of Tunnel Trail in Mission Canyon Monday night. Santa Barbara County Fire and Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue team responded to the distressed call just before 6pm.The three hikers were Santa Barbara City College students, who had never hiked before. They were not well prepared; they had no flashlight, no jackets, and were reacting to the cold, rainy weather. Just before 7:30pm rescuers were able to locate the three hikers, and bring them to safety. They were not injured. KEY News Reporter Shirin Rajaee Reports.
