Brown Appoints Federman as Judge

California Governor Jerry Brown has appointed Rita C. Federman to San Luis Obispo County Superior Court. She has served as a United States Magistrate Judge at the United States District Court for the Central District of California since 2004. Federman earned a Juris Doctorate degree from California western School of Law and a bachelor degree from Boston College. She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Teresa Estrada-Mullaney.
