Territory Ahead Closing Outlet Store
The Santa Barbara based clothing store, Territory Ahead, is closing its outlet store in downtown, but questions have been raised about the company’s future.The company has not released any details to KEY News.Published reports say there have been layoffs.At the outlet store, many customers were coming away with bags, stuffed with shirts, shoes, jackets, and pants. Some items are being sold for as low as five dollars.”It’s sort of sad because it’s a store that belongs in Santa Barbara,” said David Dill, a customer who left with a pair of jeans that he said was reduced by $34 dollars. “I hate to see them go.”One customer, Debra Holmes, said she asked an employee about the changes and was told, “yea it really sucks.” Her bag was filled to the top with sale items.Click on the photo to watch KEY News Senior Reporter John Palminteri’s report.
