Switching to Solar Power Workshop
The Community Environmental Council is hosting a free community workshop to help you “go green”. The workshop is designed to educate homeowners about different ways to add solar electricity to their home through the Solarize Santa Barbara program. The workshop will cover the basics of energy efficiency and solar, with experts on hand to answer questions.Topics include:-An introduction to energy efficiency technologies and rebates-Basics of solar electricity -Solar financing options: leases, loans and PPAs -An explanation of Solarize Santa Barbara: a group purchasing program that makes it easier and cheaper to go solar The workshop takes place this Monday night from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Carpinteria Woman’s Club at 1509 Vallectito Rd.
