Simi Valley Brush Fire Contained

Ventura County firefighters are mopping up a brush fire in Simi Valley Thursday night. They are calling it the Mount Sinai incident.Fire officials say several brush fires burned along westbound Highway 118 near Yosemite and Kuehner Roads.It started at 6pm, with full containment reached around 8pm. A total of 31 acres burned. About 100 firefighters from Ventura County and Los Angeles County helped contain the fires. Three helicopters also responded.No injuries were reported, no structures were threatened.
