Sentencing Today for Admitted Child Molester

SANTA BARBARA – Jeffrey Parish, a one time fugitive and admitted child molester, is scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday morning in Santa Barbara Superior Court.The former Carpinteria resident admitted to molesting a four year old girl 18 years ago, then fleeing the country after posting bail. Parish was nabbed this past summer in Guatamala.Prosecutors say during today’s sentencing they expect additional alleged victims, up to four of them, to address the court.Today’s sentencing is expected to be highly emotional and could take up to three hours.
