It’s been nine days since a farm worker found the remains of a newborn boy in a strawberry field near Camarillo.Deputies believe the mother gave birth in the Nyeland Acres field near the corner of Central Avenue and Santa Clara.Investigators are looking into the case as a possible homicide and they say the mother may be a victim too.With the help of an Oxnard School Board Member they are reaching out to the Latino community in hopes of finding and helping the mother.Oxnard School Board Member Denis O’Leary spoke out on Spanish language radio station KOXR this morning.O’Leary says the mother may be in need of medical attention.Doctors at the Ventura County Medical Center, St. Johns Hospital and Clinicas Del Camino Real are all standing by to helpAnyone with information is urged to call Denis O’Leary at (805) 407-1987.
