Santa Barbara Search And Rescue Urban Rescue Training
Santa Barbara’s all volunteer Search and Rescue Team got hands on instruction today in case of a major disaster. The Search and Rescue Team specializes in wilderness and back country rescues. But, this weekend they took on an urban landscape. The Hope Ranch Inn is empty and scheduled for demolition, but on Saturday it served as a training ground for dozens of team members.
