Santa Barbara Kids Head Back To School

SANTA BARBARA- A back to school tradition kicks off the new school year this Monday morning at Adams Elementary in Santa Barbara. To start off the school year right, district officials and school administrators will hand out 400-backpacks to students. The backpacks will contain important school supplies such as; a zippered pencil pouch, pocket-style folders, ruler, eraser and child-size scissors. The backpacks and supplies are donated by Costco. Costco’s backpack program provides supplies to school children in need. The company has given away 225,000 backpacks nationwide each year, since 2005. The backpacks will be distributed this Monday morning at ten.
