Santa Barbara- It was the biggest night of the Democratic National Convention. President Obama and Vice President Biden accepted their party’s nominations, and laid out their plans as to why the nation should stand behind them for a second term.Vice President Biden played the role of attack dog, and revved up the crowd, while First Lady Michelle Obama, in a warm embrace, introduced the President. It was a pivotal night. With two-thirds of Americans saying the country is heading down the wrong path, the President had to instill some optimism, and he went back to a familiar theme: hope.KEY News Reporter Shirin Rajaee attended a Santa Barbara viewing party, and shares reaction.
