Pesticides and Children’s Health

Mothers are urging farmers to reduce the use of pesticides at rallies nationwide.One of the events took place at a First Five Learning Center in Santa Paula this morning.Organizers sited new independent academic studies that say pesticides are undermining children’s intelligence and health.Their goal is to reduce their sons and daughters exposure to harmful chemicals.Speakers included a Cal Lutheran Associate Professor and members of the Central Coast Alliance for a Sustainable Economy also known as CAUSE.KEY News will have more details at 11pm.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
