Oxnard Firefighters Wear Pink

Oxnard Firefighters are wearing new uniforms this month.They have traded in their dark work shirts for bright pink ones to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.They each have three pink shirts to last the whole month.They are also selling the pink Oxnard Fire Department T’s for $25 dollar each.Every cent goes to the cause.They are also taking donations.So far they have raised more than $2,500.00 dollars.They hope to raise $15 thousand.The guys in the department say they are man enough to proudly wear pink.If you see one of their posters you can use a smart phone to click onto the site.Oxnard Fire DepartmentKEY News will have more details at 6:30 p.m.Share your comments about this story with us on the KEY News Facebook page.
