Highway 101 Roadway Repairs at Gaviota Tunnel

GAVIOTA- Expect traffic delays this week if you’re heading northboard on Highway 101 through Gaviota. Caltrans crews are doing emergency roadway repairs North of the Gavoita Tunnel Tuesday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Friday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Southbound traffic on Highway 101 will encounter a lane closure this Tuesday only, beginning at 9 a.m. Motorists should expect minor delays during the non-commute hours. All work is expected to be completed in mid-August.
