Foresters Climb Over .500 Mark

As the players keep arriving, the Foresters keep winning. Ian McCarthy pitched five shutout innings to improve to 3-0 as Santa Barbara blanked the Southern California Halos 6-0. Catcher Jacob Felts who just arrived from the University of Texas, hit an inside-the-park home run, his second homer in as many games. Santa Barbara has won a season-high three straight games and improved to 6-5 on the year, the first time that they have been above .500 on the young season. The Foresters just got two players from Sam Houston State, first baseman Ryan O’Hearn and outfielder Luke Plucheck.
