Fire Damages Apartment Complex in Lompoc

LOMPOC- Firefighters put out a fire at an apartment complex early Tuesday morning.The fire started at 717 North F Street at 3:30 Tuesday morning.A spokesperson for the Lompoc Fire Department says, when they arrived on scene they found a second story apartment building on fire and a live electrical power line down in an alley. The 15 residents living in the apartment complex were evacuated while firefighters battled the blaze. The fire was contained to the outside of the structure. Occupants of the residence were allowed back into their apartments just a couple hours later but they remained without gas or electric power. Firefighters estimate the damage to be $60,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation at the time
