FDA Approves First New Weight Loss Drug In Over a Decade
Santa Barbara- -The first prescription weight loss drug to hit the market in more than a decade is out today. The FDA Approved drug, Qsymia, is the new option for the millions of Americans affected by obesity. The FDA approved the drug in July. Weight loss experts say it’s not for everyone, and the average percentage of weight loss is between 5 and 10%. The oral medication is taken once a day in 2 doses.
