Dozens of Bills to Become California Law Soon
Parents who don’t want their children vaccinated by the time they go to public school will be required to get a doctor’s signature after January of 2014. Governor Brown says the law will ensure parents are making an informed decision.Hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants in California will be able to get a driver’s license. The law goes into effect in January.Prisoners who were sentenced to life in prison for crimes they committed when they were under 18 will get to ask a judge for a second chance after 15 years. A judge could reduce the sentence to 25 years to life. The law goes into effect in January.
