Generations of tradition is what comes to mind when you see the “Danza de Cota” being performed. A member of the Cota family has performed every single year in Old Spanish Days. A tradition that will continue Wednesday night at La Fiesta Pequena. Tuesday we treated our “Live at 5” viewers to a preview. We saw the dancers performing “Sevillanas.” It’s a dance traditionally performed at celebrations with people of all ages taking part. It’s just one example of a strong, family tradition of classical Spanish, “Mexican of Flamenco,” dance being carried on.
